OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Bilingual (Spanish) Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive service management, with a focus on dealership experience and a comprehensive understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair. This role requires excellent leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to upsell services effectively. Work Schedule would be Mon-Fri 9am-6pm Sat 9am-5pm. Off on Sundays. Salary pay + commissions based on experience.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in auto service management within a dealership environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge is essential.
  • Previous experience as a service technician or mechanic is preferred.
  • Familiarity with service writing processes and customer service best practices is required.
  • Knowledge of automobile sales processes can be advantageous.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
  • Manage and mentor a team of service technicians, providing guidance on automotive diagnostics and repair processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer service and satisfaction levels.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff on new automotive technologies and service techniques.
  • Monitor inventory levels for parts and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
  • Perform auto estimating for repairs, including brake repair, oil changes, transmissions, alignment, suspension work, tire service, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repair.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and manage cash handling procedures within the department.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to promote automotive services and upsell additional repairs or maintenance packages.
