Responsibilities
  • Handle Leads and Merchant Opportunities from the (Micros) Portfolio Managers
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Managers to re-price merchants to profitable levels (where applicable)
  • Maintain the prospective leads through excellent customer service relations; negotiate and win new incremental business
  • Generate own leads and tailor presentation to specific industry segments
  • Meet and/or exceed sales targets (annual, quarterly, monthly, weekly)
  • Recommend, select and locate appropriate products, based on specific customer needs
  • Process sales orders
  • Provide exceptional service and support during and after the sale
  • Acquire knowledge of the industry competition and their pricing strategies, and implement accurate merchant agreements & pricing models
  • Acquire all information needed to complete the sale
  • Enter leads & opportunities and track/update prospects on Sales Force
  • Liaise/follow up with the Credit Department and other divisions of Global Payments (internal & external) to facilitate completion of merchant agreements.
