Our key client in the Legal industry is looking for additional members to their team. We have a Bilingual Claims Nurse Reviewer (Oncology/Pulmonology Focus) role on the team.
Pay Rate: $33.19-$36.30/hour (T4)
Work Type: Remote – Ontario/Quebec
Work Hours: 9:00 AM -5:00 PM
Duration: 12-month contract with possible extension

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree or other relevant industry experience is preferred.
• 2-3+ years of work experience as a Registered Nurse (RN), with direct client/customer contact in a professional environment.
• Experience in oncology, pulmonology or related inpatient/outpatient settings (Med-Surg, ICU/CCU, thoracic surgery) is required.
• Prior medical-legal or clinical record review experience is preferred.
• Bilingualism, French and English fluency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, calm demeanor.
• Critical thinking skills and a keen attention to detail are required, with the ability to efficiently gather and process information in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in drafting written content for program related materials.
• Strong organizational skillset with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Experience in working with databases is preferred.
• Experience with MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Claims Assessment Execution - Meet project requirements, by following written procedure to deliver all project deliverables on time, and at the highest quality standards
• Internal Collaboration - Responsible for working with team leadership and to meet project objectives and proactiveness to immediately communicate all obstacles relating to completing work.
• Client Communication - Respond to client communications timely and accurately.
• Understand client needs and feedback, collaborate and consult with clients and/or support project management team in doing so.
• Follow up and communicate client’s needs internally while ensuring the obtention of factual information from claimants.
• Documentation & Reporting – Draft project client facing communications based on case requirements and review of legal documentation and records.
• Database Execution – Verify data and processing requirements, ensuring corrections are handled in an accurate and timely manner
• Towards this goal, the Claims Nurse Reviewer will work with the Project Managers in Client Services as well as other operational departments to continually enhance service quality standards to meet and/or exceed client expectations.
• This position is responsible for fostering a team environment and building cooperation between client services team members, and other departments to provide the highest quality service standards.
• A critical component of the job is to manage and resolve complex tasks.
