The Opportunity: We’re looking for a Bilingual Corporate Actions Administrator to join our Settlements & Corporate Actions team. Reporting to the Supervisor, Corporate Actions, the Bilingual Corporate Actions Administrator is responsible for the processing and reporting of reorganizations, offers, name changes, and any other corporate actions for security positions held at Aviso. You proactively encourage collaboration, build trust and inclusion, and work to establish effective relationships both inside and outside of the organization What your day looks like: Coordinate, review, and distribute all Canadian and US depository mandatory and voluntary bulletins Process all mandatory and voluntary corporate actions for securities held at Aviso with exceptional accuracy and within specified service standards Process all daily entitlements including GIC interest and maturity payments Ensure all corporate actions are processed with appropriate US or Canadian tax treatment Set client accounts up for dividend reinvestment plans (DRIPs) based on requests received Provide excellent customer service to external and internal clients Ensure procedure manuals are updated regularly and in adherence with internal controls and regulatory requirements Actively participate in team meetings and seek ideas for process improvements Post-secondary education (including professional development) 2 years of related work experience Completion of CSC is an asset Fluency (written and spoken) in English and French is required to effectively communicate with partners, clients, and colleagues across Canada Why Aviso?
