About Genomii
Genomii is a precision wellness startup powered by AI and epigenetics. We’re building MirrorMii, a health companion app that helps users “see the truth” behind food, lifestyle, and aging. As part of our content strategy, we are creating long and short-form videos that break down hidden food traps, wellness myths, and personalized insights using AI-powered storytelling.
We’re looking for a creative, technically advanced video editor & producer who can bring these concepts to life through AI video generation, animation, editing, and sound design.
Role Overview
As the AI Video Producer, you will:
*Lead production of all long & short-form videos (TikTok, IG Reels, YouTube Shorts, Xiaohongshu) using real content+AI animation tools + high-quality editing workflows.
*Translate storyboards/scripts into engaging, fast-paced, knowledge-rich videos that resonate with global audiences.
*Drive the sound/music layer, ensuring rhythm and audio storytelling enhances engagement and virality.
*Work closely with the founder/creative team on brand alignment, and adapt content for bilingual (EN/中文)audiences.
*Develop repeatable pipelines for AI-driven video generation at scale.
Key Responsibilities
1. AI Video Generation
*Use advanced AI video & animation tools (Runway, Pika Labs, Kaiber, MidJourney + Animate, ElevenLabs, etc.) to create dynamic content.
*Design workflows to efficiently scale long & short-form video production with AI augmentation.
2. Video Editing & Motion Graphics
*High-quality editing in Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut Pro, DaVinci Resolve.
*Add captions, callouts, infographics, and split-screen comparisons to simplify scientific concepts.
3. Sound & Music Design
*Source/produce soundtracks that drive video pacing.
Integrate voiceover (AI voice or human), background music, and sound effects to maximize engagement.
4. Creative Development
*Collaborate on script refinement & storyboarding.
*Convert health/science insights into snackable, viral content.
*Ensure each video has a clear hook, retention loop, and CTA to Genomii.
5. Cross-Cultural & Bilingual Adaptation
*Optimize content for both Western (TikTok/YouTube) and Chinese (小紅書/抖音)platforms.
*If bilingual: handle subtitles, voiceover, and localization in Simplified Chinese.
Requirements
* Proven experience in long& short-form video production (portfolio required).
* Advanced AI video generation skills (Veo3, Kling, Runway, Pika, Kaiber, Stable Video, Sora-like tools).
* Strong editing proficiency (Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, or equivalent).
* Expertise in sound/music-driven storytelling.
* Experience creating viral TikTok/YouTube Shorts content.
* Strong ability to visualize scientific/educational concepts in a simple, engaging way.
* Bilingual (English + Mandarin Chinese) preferred.
Nice-to-Haves
* Experience in health, wellness, food, or science content.
* Familiarity with AI voice synthesis + subtitling workflows.
* Motion graphics skills for data visualization (e.g., blood sugar spikes, nutrition breakdowns).
Job Type: Freelance
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
