POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for customers, providing friendly and efficient service. Responsibilities include assisting customers with transactions, completing scale tickets accurately, maintaining a clean and welcoming work environment, and supporting day-to-day yard operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented with ability to complete paperwork accurately
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Friendly, professional, and reliable

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed
  • Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments
  • Ability to bend, reach, and perform light physical tasks when assisting in the yard
Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone in both English and Spanish
  • Accurately complete scale tickets and process transactions
  • Answer customer questions regarding services, pricing, and policies
  • Maintain cleanliness in office and customer areas (light housekeeping such as sweeping, wiping surfaces, emptying trash)
  • Assist with weighing and checking in customers in the nonferrous department during peak/busy times
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth yard operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
