JOB OVERVIEW

Great opportunity to work with a great company! Assistance with passing the insurance licensing exam is offered. Pay will increase once licensed! The role of Customer Service Representative is crucial to the success of our agency. The focus is to perform the essential function of aiding our clients with their service needs. Specific service and marketing responsibilities are required in this position to make certain we grow and retain our customer base. We are committed to maintaining high delivery standards and focus on quality.
Salary Range: $30,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be bilingual and proficient in English and Spanish.
  • Experience in insurance is preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to obtain P&C license.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building abilities.
  • Confident, self-starter who works well independently. Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.

Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with customers and carriers.
  • Day to day account management of assigned client accounts.
  • Deliver certificates of insurance in a timely and efficient fashion.
  • Perform quality control and review applications, endorsements and policies for accuracy.
  • Maintain and update files in our account management system.
  • Prepare and maintain reports as required by management.
  • Correspond and maintain contact with advisors regarding new and renewal business.
