ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

On behalf of a prestigious academic institution, we have the privilege of sourcing a Director for their Psychotherapy Centre. This leadership role works collaboratively within a faculty setting to offer ongoing development for students studying within this medical specialty. The role is a unique mix of mentorship to developing counselling students and executing operational excellence within operations of the medical centre.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Contribute to the training of master’s students by providing guidance and a supervised framework for applying their knowledge
  • Work with patients and their families to deliver psychotherapy services in a caring and efficient environment
  • Develop and refine internal policies and procedures to ensure best practices and compliance with legislative frameworks around delivering mental health services
  • Work collaboratively with faculty members to support the development of the centre and its activities
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement to deliver services in a caring, professional environment
  • Oversee all operations, directly supervising staff, managing budgets and representing the centre to senior management
