We are currently hiring for a Bilingual Dispatch Agent in Pointe-Claire!
Position: Bilingual Dispatch Agent
Job Type: Permanent
Shift: Tuesday – Saturday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Location: Pointe-Claire, QC H9R 5Z9
Compensation: $20/hour (approx. $41,600 annually) + benefits package and vacation included
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all non-payments are processed within 48 hours before delivery.
Answer incoming calls promptly and return messages quickly at the start of each shift.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries in a timely manner.
Respond to driver calls and communicate product defects requiring a technician to the Customer Service department.
Notify the Warehouse Manager when inspections are required.
Confirm a minimum of 25 deliveries per shift.
When booking customer pickups, clearly explain warehouse hours and accepted methods of payment.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of previous dispatching experience.
Fluency in French and English (spoken and written).
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Proficiency with computer systems.
Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
