AppleOne is hiring a Bilingual Dispatch Agent in Montreal, QC
Pay rate- $20/hr
Shift- Tuesday to Saturday; 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Job Description:
In this role, the dispatcher agent will be responsible for entering or scheduling deliveries into the system. They will not be involved in arrangements with truck drivers.

Responsibilities

  • Process all outstanding non-payments at least 48 hours prior to delivery.
  • Check and respond to all messages promptly at the start of each shift.
  • Answer incoming calls immediately to maintain excellent customer service.
  • Respond to driver calls without delay and promptly inform the customer service department of any product defects requiring a technician.
  • Notify the warehouse manager via email when inspections are required.
  • Confirm 25 deliveries per shift.
  • When scheduling customer pickups at the warehouse, clearly communicate operating hours and accepted payment methods.

Requirements

  • Previous dispatching experience (1 year minimum)
  • Must be fluent in French and English
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to use computers
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Multitasking skills with a high level of accuracy in quality of work
