MINIMUM 1+ YEARS TEACHING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

An elementary bilingual teacher fluent in Spanish is needed to provide instruction to 3rd-5th grade students in a full-time position. This role is a contract assignment for the 2025-2026 school year, running from August 19, 2025, to June 5, 2026. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM, totaling 35 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver bilingual instruction in both Spanish and English to enhance students language skills.
  • Employ ESL strategies tailored for elementary students to support English language learners.
  • Develop lesson plans and assessments aligned with curriculum standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and families to support student academic growth and language development.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed to meet diverse learning needs.

Qualifications:

  • Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with an English as a Second Language (ESL) endorsement.
  • Proficiency in Spanish with the ability to effectively communicate and instruct in both English and Spanish.
  • Experience teaching elementary students, particularly in bilingual and ESL settings.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
