Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Bilingual French Collections Specialist to join our team in North York, Ontario. This is a Contract position within the manufacturing industry, offering an opportunity to showcase your expertise in collections and billing processes. The ideal candidate will excel in managing accounts receivable, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring timely resolution of outstanding balances.

Responsibilities
  • Manage both inbound and outbound calls related to collections, ensuring clear and courteous communication.
  • Oversee billing activities and prepare reports to meet established deadlines.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to vendor inquiries, maintaining strong relationships.
  • Update and maintain customer files to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Contact clients regarding overdue balances and record detailed follow-ups in the system.
  • Accurately record customer payments and apply them to relevant reports.
  • Utilize accounting software systems and CRM tools to manage collections processes efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while handling sensitive financial information.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • 2-3 years of experience managing high-volume collections processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including the use of Pivot Tables and V-Lookups.
  • Familiarity with Pronto or similar accounting software is considered an asset.
  • Experience with CRM systems and accounts receivable processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and efficiency.
