Mgr HR - Campus The Campus Human Resources Manager is responsible for administering policies relating to all phases of human resources for a portion of a Campus or campuses that are smaller and only in one state. Your role on the team: * Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance * Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions * Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals * Keep track of Personnel transactions such as: new hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting * Trains management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment * Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues * Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs * Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization * Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within the organization * Administers benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance * Conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations * Manages subordinates, such as Human Resources Coordinator, Human Resources Generalist and/or Manager Campus Human Resources * Directs, coordinates, and evaluates the assigned unit(s) by carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws * Interviews, hires, and trains employees * Plans, assigns, and directs work of subordinates to include: performance appraisals, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems What you need: (requirements): * Minimum 4 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and training * PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel * PHR, SPHR or GPHR certified preferred * Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations * Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals * Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public * Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists * Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form What you gain from joining our team: * Free telemedical access to doctors and therapists through First Stop Health is available on the first day of employment! * Access wages early with the Rain financial wellness app * Health, dental, and vision insurance after 30 days of employment * 401k match * Paid maternity and parental leave * Access to career development, employee resource groups, and mentorship programs * Employee discounts * Access to employee perks like fitness class discounts and free access to a relaxation and meditation app * Free financial wellness programs * Daycare discount program * Opportunities to volunteer and give back to your community. * + more!
