Job Summary: As a hospitality recruiter, you will play a critical role in sourcing, identifying, and attracting top talent to join our organization within the hospitality sector. You will work closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing needs, develop recruiting strategies, and manage the entire recruitment process to ensure the selection of qualified candidates. Duties/Responsibilities: Candidate Sourcing: Proactively source and identify potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and industry-specific associations. Build and maintain a network of hospitality professionals. Candidate Screening: Review resumes and applications to assess qualifications, experience, and suitability for open positions. Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidates' communication skills, career goals, and cultural fit. Interview Coordination: Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates. Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the interview process. Candidate Assessment: Administer and evaluate skills assessments, aptitude tests, and other assessments as needed. Conduct reference checks and background screenings. Talent Acquisition Strategy: Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in hospitality recruitment. Candidate Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, keeping them informed about job opportunities and updates. Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Generate reports and metrics to track recruitment effectiveness. Compliance and Diversity: Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations. Promote diversity and inclusion in the hiring process. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements Required Skills/Abilities: Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and its specific job roles. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed. Willingness to travel occasionally for job fairs, events, or candidate interviews. A hospitality recruiter plays a crucial role in ensuring that a hospitality organization can meet its staffing needs with highly qualified and motivated individuals who can deliver exceptional guest experiences. Software used – Aloha, Hot Schedule, Paylocity Education and Experience: Must be at least eighteen years old. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). Previous experience in hospitality recruitment or a related field. Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and its specific job roles. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
