Now Hiring: Bilingual Lead Clinician
Location: Yucaipa, CA 92399
We are currently seeking a Bilingual Lead Clinician to join our residential team. The Bilingual Lead Clinician is responsible for the overall clinical operations, administration, and management of the clinical services for a 24-bed program for unaccompanied minors. The Lead Clinician is responsible for oversight of clinicians, and their implementation of treatment protocols, plans and assessments, conducting utilization review, and evaluation of the program and services after discharge or placement in accordance with Agency policies and procedures, licensing standards, and federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. Other duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide clinical supervision to staff in accordance with licensing requirements and standards as needed..
- Oversee the coordination, implementation, and evaluation of individual service plans.
- Monitor and evaluate clinical services and programs to ensure best practices, compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies and licensing standards.
- Design and develop treatment protocols that can advance UC care and apply consistency throughout the facility.
- Provide emergency evaluation for UC in crisis and facilitate referral to more intensive levels of treatment or alternative solutions that can be handled onsite.
- Assist clinical staff with admission assessments.
- Actively participate in exhibiting cultural awareness and sensitivity when interacting with children, parent(s)/guardian(s), staff, and the community.
- Provide consultation to clinical staff, interdisciplinary team, and other service providers to facilitate a coordinated continuum of UC care.
- Drive a vehicle when necessary.
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a Masters in Behavioral Sciences, plus 2-years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience; or a master’s degree or Ph.D. in psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science in which clinical experience is a program requirement, plus 2-years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience; or a bachelor’s degree plus 5-years of clinical employment experience in behavioral sciences.
- Must be licensed to provide clinical services in the where the care provider is located.
- Must have experience with Mental Health reporting and treatment and working in a facility/program similar to Trinity as a Therapist and in a supervisory role.
- Must be well organized and able to assume a position of strong leadership with the clinical team.
- Must have a special interest in working with youth and must fulfill the general requirements as established in the California Code of Regulations, Title 22.
- Writing, verbal skills, and the ability to compose quality reports and other necessary correspondence are essential.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass a physical examination; drug clearance; criminal background check and Child Abuse Index check.
- Must be fluent in Spanish, verbal and written.
- Must possess a valid California driver’s license with clean DMV history and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and be insurable by Trinity’s insurance carrier.
Annual salary: $72,000.
