Job Title: Lean Production Supervisor
Location: Dallas, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Salary Range: $55,000 – $72,000 annually

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Lean Production Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of production teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing processes. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this individual will oversee production scheduling, lead shift personnel, monitor performance metrics, and support the implementation of lean initiatives throughout the plant.
This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about continuous improvement, employee engagement, and operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production leadership role.
  • Proven experience working in a Lean Manufacturing environment (Kaizen, 5S, etc.).
  • Strong communication, team-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, and technical documents.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and basic computer skills (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education or technical training is an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production staff on the floor to meet production goals.
  • Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
  • Lead shift meetings, ensure accurate reporting, and escalate any issues affecting throughput or safety.
  • Support and implement Lean Manufacturing practices including 5S, visual management, and waste reduction.
  • Assist with employee training and development to build team capabilities and cross-functional flexibility.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and materials teams to resolve production bottlenecks.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions related to downtime or quality concerns.
  • Enforce company policies and contribute to a respectful, high-performing culture.
