POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bilingual Mandarin Real Estate Office Manager to lead and manage a team of 8 professionals, including a back-of-the-house manager, transaction coordinator, client relations specialist, event planner, marketing specialist, and three agents. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Walnut, CA office and for empowering our team to reach their full potential.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial or retail real estate and possess exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. You will serve as the primary point of contact for the team, providing guidance and support that was previously handled by the CEO.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience: Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or retail real estate. Proven experience in a management or team lead role is a plus.
  • Licensing: An active real estate license is required.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual fluency in both Mandarin and English is a must.
  • Connections: Possess an established network and resources within the real estate field.

Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership & Management: Oversee and manage daily office operations. Coach, mentor, train, and provide discipline to the team to ensure high performance and accountability.
  • Business Planning & Strategy: Work with the CEO to develop and execute effective business strategies. Possess in-depth knowledge of the commercial real estate industry and local market to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, particularly during peak and off-peak seasons.
  • Performance Monitoring: Proactively monitor the team’s performance, ensuring everyone is meeting their goals and responsibilities. Possess a clear understanding of each team member’s roles, skills, and time allocation to maximize efficiency.
  • Problem-Solving & Support: Serve as the first line of support for the team, handling day-to-day problems and resolving issues to maintain momentum and morale.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Supervise and coordinate between different departments (e.g., marketing, client relations, transaction coordination) to ensure seamless workflow and resource integration.
  • Client & Transaction Management: Oversee duties related to client relations and act as a resource for the transaction coordinator. Ensure client communication and follow-up are of the highest quality to improve satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Marketing & Events: Assist in and monitor the marketing team’s activities. Use your people-person personality and connections to help host events for business owners, fostering new business relationships.
  • Innovation & Technology: Stay informed about new management and creative tools (e.g., Monday, Salesforce, AI tools) and drive their effective adoption to enhance team productivity.
  • Communication & Alignment: Maintain continuous alignment with the CEO and effectively communicate business goals and strategies to the team.
