Every employee plays a vital role in living out our promise: We care. You belong. Job Summary Community Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Primary & Urgent Care location in Centerton, AR. The Medical Assistant assists in patient care under the direction of the clinicians and Clinic Nurses, assisting in providing excellent primary health care to our patients. CMA or RMA certification is required. Spanish language ability required.  The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.   Key Responsibilities   * Maintains patient flow during clinic so as to assure prompts service for patients. * Obtains vital signs, measurements and laboratory tests accurately, as per protocol. * Obtains chief complaint and reason for visit using excellent listening skills. * Maintains exam room supplies and cleanliness for optimal efficiency. * Assist as requested by provider in procedures and examinations within guidelines or certification and/or training. * Translates written and verbal communication between patient and providers, nurses, or ancillary staff, as requested by either the patient or staff and as skills allow. * Adheres to applicable regulatory guidelines and laws, including but not limited to HIPAA/HITECH, CLIA, HRSA, NCQA PCMH and OSHA. Skills * Proficient spelling necessary * Ability to work and function independently and within a team. * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively ith people of all backgrounds. * Proficient knowledge in computer software such as Microsoft Office Software * Able to perform proficiently on current practice management system and/or electronic medical records. Responsibilities
