Description
We are seeking a highly professional, friendly, and detail-oriented Medical Front Desk Receptionist to support a busy medical practice. This role requires someone with outstanding customer service skills, competent in handling both administrative and patient communication responsibilities. The ideal candidate must have excellent spoken English with a clear, neutral accent, strong communication skills, and the ability to quickly learn medical procedures and workflows in order to confidently educate and assist patients. Professionally manage inbound and outbound patient communications with exceptional customer service Coordinate appointment scheduling, confirmations, and calendar management Accurately maintain and update patient records within EMR/EHR systems Perform insurance verification and obtain required pre-authorizations in a timely manner Process and coordinate referrals while ensuring continuity of patient care Educate and guide patients regarding office procedures, services, and next steps Collaborate effectively with providers and clinical staff to support daily operations Ensure accurate documentation, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance at all times Deliver a warm, professional, and patient-focused experience in every interaction Please note that this is a full-time contractor position (40 hours per week) with a pay rate of $6 - $7 per hour depending on skillset and experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM MST.
