Description

We are currently hiring for a Bilingual Patient Service Coordinator in Montreal for a 1 year contract (remote)! You must have experience with medical scheduling to be considered for this position.
Position: Bilingual Patient Service Coordinator
Location: Quebec
Salary: $45,000 per year
Contract: 1 year
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Clinic Visits: Scheduler must be located near one of the following clinics to attend once per month:
Québec City, QC
Montreal, QC
Pointe-Claire, QC

REQUIREMENTS:

Secondary School Diploma required.
Completion of a recognized program such as Licensed Registered Practical Nurse program or Medical Terminology course preferred.
Minimum of two years related customer service experience, ideally in healthcare.
Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to meet deadlines and commitment to continuous learning.
Proficiency in keyboarding and Windows-based scheduling software.
Ability to operate standard office equipment.
Experience with Procura is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Handle and document patient inquiries regarding requests for service.
Report and document Adverse Events as per Pharmacovigilance requirements.
Assess patient service needs in consultation with Supervisors.
Schedule licensed employees for care and service assignments, ensuring the right match between patient needs and employee qualifications, skills, and abilities.
Promote consistency of nursing assignments and coordination of services.
Notify patients and field employees regarding initial and ongoing schedules.
Complete data entry and maintain accurate scheduling documentation.
Be available for On-Call shifts (morning, evening, weekend, or holiday coverage).
Handle and document patient concerns and complaints in a timely manner, escalating when necessary.
Meet required scheduling key performance indicators.
Ensure scheduling is efficient while maintaining a patient-centric approach.
Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities.
Follow company policies and procedures.
Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives as part of the Quality Management System.
Follow proactive Health & Safety practices.
Maintain confidentiality of patient and corporate information.
Support processes related to regulatory and/or contractual reporting requirements.
Perform other tasks as required.
