JOB OVERVIEW:

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish-English) Member Services Coordinator to join their remote team. This role involves high-volume call center outreach and scheduling, supporting both members and providers, and facilitating care access. The ideal candidate will have previous call center experience, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with healthcare systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)
  • Call center outreach experience (required)
  • Experience in a health plan, medical office, or healthcare setting (preferred)
  • Appointment scheduling experience (preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to multitask across various platforms
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Must have reliable internet, dual monitors, and a docking station

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field preferred (relevant experience considered in lieu)
  • 0–2 years of clinical or healthcare coordination experience
Responsibilities
  • Manage inbound and outbound member and provider calls
  • Verify member eligibility and assist with benefit-related inquiries
  • Schedule appointments for members to receive care
  • Generate and send appointment reminders and “unable to contact” letters
  • Conduct outreach to provider offices for scheduling and information requests
  • Log all interactions and activities accurately in Salesforce
  • Coordinate additional services including transportation and language assistance
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements
  • Support various administrative tasks and collaborate with internal stakeholders
  • Retrieve and report data to support ongoing projects and compliance needs
