Reporting to the Manager of Compliance Services, you are responsible for being the subject matter expert in payroll compliance and providing exceptional client services and support over the phone and in virtual meetings. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Receiving and responding to payroll inquiries
  • Providing advice on payroll requirements, legislation, processing, and best practices
  • Escalating complex payroll issues to the Manager as required
  • Maintaining updated knowledge of best practices in payroll as well as legislation and standards
  • Reviewing best practices, identifying areas of concern, and advising on process improvements
  • Supporting various programs and initiatives and ensuring alignment with member needs
  • Assisting with government advocacy efforts
  • Communicating on various platforms regarding payroll legislation across Canada
  • Managing multiple projects and deadlines with efficiency
  • Planning and facilitating payroll trainin
