This is a remote position. Full-Time (40+ hrs/week): Work Schedule Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PST (1-hour unpaid break) Responsibilities: Handle patient inquiries and follow-up communications Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients Answer inbound and outbound phone calls Manage patient appointments and scheduling Provide bilingual support for Spanish and English-speaking patients Perform general administrative tasks including file management Handle email and calendar management Conduct research as needed for the practice Support practice operations during the onboarding phase and full launch Scope: Remote work arrangement with consistent Monday-Friday schedule Healthcare receptionist role with potential for expanded administrative duties Focus on patient communication and practice management support Work directly with podiatrist owners during practice launch phase Flexible scheduling options including potential weekend coverage Requirements Requirements: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English Previous experience in healthcare or medical field is a must Experience with insurance verification processes Strong communication skills for patient-facing interactions Administrative and organizational skills Ability to work consistent schedule during practice hours Familiarity with healthcare terminology and processes
