What You'll Do: Leadership & Impact The Assistant Director is vital in mentoring and supporting the team, ensuring a caring and safe environment, and upholding our innovative curriculum. You'll be an ambassador for our values and help ensure we meet the highest standards of care and compliance. You will take ownership of the following key areas: Team Leadership & Development: Build a fantastic team, role model behavior, and drive management, development, and progression. Support teachers through training and ongoing mentorship. Curriculum & Environment: Collaborate with the Kïdo Curriculum team for curriculum support and oversight. Help ensure learning spaces are organized, clean, and inviting. Operations & Compliance: Ensure compliance with TX Minimum Standards, regulating agencies, and Kïdo policies. Manage Health & Safety and Financial & Operational Effectiveness (accounts/budget). School Growth & Strategy: Manage Sales & Marketing (occupancy levels and pricing strategy). Take an active role in supporting the growth of your school and offering recommendations to push the boundaries of excellence. Build positive relationships with families, children, and staff. Lead Administrator: Act as the lead administrator in the Director's absence, managing all center responsibilities (staff, students, parents, Licensing). What You'll Bring We need a fluent, passionate, and experienced leader ready to make a significant impact. Minimum Position Requirements: Bilingual Fluency: Fluent in both Spanish and English (reading, writing, and speaking). Education/Certification: A CDA or a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Experience: Four (4) or more years in a licensed childcare facility working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Working knowledge of TX Minimum Standards. Ideal Candidates will have at least 1 year of school leadership experience.
