Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bilingual Scheduler to join the Kiddo team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish and will be responsible for scheduling client appointments, managing patient records, providing exceptional customer service, assisting with the onboarding process, conducting training, and performing administrative tasks. This part-time role is crucial for ensuring smooth operations and high patient satisfaction within our organization, with the potential to transition to a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments while maintaining an organized calendar.
  • Maintain patient records in compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to enhance scheduling efficiency and improve patient care.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks to support clinical and administrative teams as needed.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new staff members and provide necessary training.
  • Communicate with insurance companies to verify coverage and resolve any issues.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in scheduling or administrative roles, is preferred.
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and other healthcare software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
