Some of what you will do: The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full cycle recruitment to attract and hire high caliber talent for Staples Canada. They are responsible for supporting all areas of the business including Retail Management, Corporate, and closed-door facilities positions. They will participate in activities such as sourcing, interviewing, and coordinating the background check process for prospective candidates.  The Sr. TA Specialist will also actively be involved in projects and activities including attending career fairs, planning hiring days and working with external vendors.   Specifically, You Will: •    Recruit for all level positions for Retail, Corporate, and closed-door lines of business. •    Utilize Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ATS) to screen assigned job requisitions to review and assess applications.  •    Act as a consultative partner to hiring managers and leaders, providing market insight, sourcing strategies, and recommendations throughout the hiring process. •    Utilize a variety of innovative sourcing techniques to identify, attract, and build talent pipelines of high quality active and passive candidates for current and future roles. •    Create and share engaging, professional talent related content across platforms such as LinkedIn to support Staples employer brand and hiring efforts. •    Represent the TA team internally and externally through presentations, hiring initiatives, career events, and cross functional collaboration. Some of what you need: •    University Degree/Post-Secondary Education required or related experience preferred.  •    3-5 years previous progressive HR experience required including talent acquisition. •    Retail industry and corporate recruitment experience considered an asset. •    Bilingual skillset (English / French) considered a strong asset.   •    Strong time management and prioritization skills, with proven ability to manage a high volume of work while maintaining accuracy and strong attention to detail. •    Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions and represent the company professionally through presentations and engaging social media content.
