BILINGUAL (SPANISH/ENGLISH) DATA ANALYST/VISUALIZATION:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Data Analyst/Visualization for an approximately 2.5-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

BILINGUAL (SPANISH/ENGLISH) DATA ANALYST/VISUALIZATION - JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with a strong focus on data discovery and collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for an International Banking project involving data migration and transformation to the cloud. The role involves developing and maintaining a cloud platform that integrates data from various sources, ensuring quality, security, and accessibility.

BILINGUAL (SPANISH/ENGLISH) DATA ANALYST/VISUALIZATION - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• 5 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on data discovery and stakeholder engagement.
• Proven track record of working with SMEs to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
• Experience with Python, R, or similar for data analysis and visualization.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Spanish-speaking candidates mandatory.

BILINGUAL (SPANISH/ENGLISH) DATA ANALYST/VISUALIZATION – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques or machine learning fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

• Identify, collect, and assess relevant datasets from internal and external sources to support business objectives.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies.
• Validate data quality, integrity, and consistency, addressing issues through cleansing and preprocessing.
• Partner with SMEs across departments to understand business requirements and domain-specific challenges.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discussions to gather insights and refine data-driven solutions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Conduct statistical analysis and modeling to derive insights that inform strategic decisions.
