Description At Palm Beach Eye Center, we have an immediate opening for a full-time Spanish Speaking Medical Front Office Receptionist for our busy and growing ophthalmology practices. We have openings at both our Delray and Lake Worth locations! Our ideal candidate should be able to multi-task, be self-motivated, be patient-oriented, and be extremely dependable. We are looking for a candidate that can interact well with patients, doctors, managers, and co-workers. This is a Monday - Friday day shift position with No Weekend and No Holidays!Willing to train and develop. Job responsibilities include: Greet and check-in in patients Scheduling appointments Collecting copays Balancing daily payment log Verifying medical and vision plan insurance benefits Obtaining referrals Prepping charts Scanning and filing medical records Answering Phones Maintain cleanliness of the lobby area Accurately process end-of-day payment and insurance reconciliation Must be well-organized and have the ability to work in a team-oriented environment Have excellent computer skills Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and team members. Must be flexible in work assignments and schedule; demonstrate commitment to ongoing education and cumulative skill mix. Must uphold to the highest ethical principles of maintaining confidentiality and other performance standards.
