WIRELESS RETAIL STORE MANAGER — BOOST MOBILE (A TO Z CELLULAR)

Role Type: Full-time, salaried

Responsibilities
  • Lead & Develop the Team: Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard. Build schedules aligned to traffic; run daily huddles and weekly 1:1s; recognize wins and address gaps quickly and fairly.
  • Sales Execution: Create a guest-first culture—warm greeting, focused needs discovery, simple plan/device explanations, confident closes. Consistently meet or exceed store goals.
  • Customer Care & Retention: Own escalations and service recovery; follow up after complex issues to drive satisfaction, reviews, and referrals.
  • Merchandising & Readiness: Keep visuals sharp, demo devices live, and all pricing/promo signage current; maintain a clean, organized sales floor and stockroom; execute planograms on time.
  • Cash Integrity: Perform dual counts, deposits, variance documentation, and policy-compliant refunds/exchanges; coach accurate POS handling.
  • Inventory Control: Receive shipments accurately, secure high-value items, conduct cycle counts, manage RMAs/defect returns, and reduce shrink with proper LP practices.
  • Systems Accuracy: Use POS and carrier portals correctly for activations, ports, plan/number changes, top-ups, and account updates; audit work orders daily and fix errors the same day.
  • Compliance, Privacy & Fraud Prevention: Protect customer data (ID verification/port-out protection); complete safety/audit checklists; identify and escalate fraud risks (e.g., SIM-swap indicators).
  • Reporting & Planning: Review daily results and conversion trends; adjust the game plan quickly; manage labor to budget while protecting service levels.
  • Community & Traffic: Support simple local outreach (nearby businesses, flyers, mini-events) and partner with area leadership/carrier reps on promotions and training.
  • Bench & Succession: Develop key holders/ASMs, maintain a bench for coverage, and document coaching plans and growth paths.
