Bilingual - Production Line Lead opportunity
2nd shift - 3:30 - 12pm - 1.00 Shift Differential

PRODUCTION TEAM LEAD KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Six months material handling equipment/forklift experience preferred
  • Experience in leading, supervising and training associates preferred
  • Experience using warehouse management and inventory systems preferred
  • Experience with the refrigeration, warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience with computers and Microsoft Office preferred
  • Experience following safety procedures preferred
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes potential overtime, weekends and different work schedules
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Ability to balance productivity, quality, and safety
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coordinate and prioritize the operations tasks directed by the supervisor
  • Communicate and execute work assignments to meet set expectations by department and customer requirements
  • Communicate with and perform as an assistant for all staff and departments such as the supervisors, support staff, leadership, and front-line employees
  • Communicate with customers and their needs
  • Prepare duty-related paperwork
  • Escalate work-related and interpersonal issues to leadership as needed
  • Perform quality checks and report failures to supervisor.
  • Assist and coordinate training for new and current associates
  • Supervise employees to ensure they are following Safety and Quality processes and regulations
  • Be a resource for Safety, QA and Company processes and procedures
  • Handle any minor tasks related to duties of the position
  • Follow health, safety, and cleanliness standards
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality for an hourly role
