DESCRIPTION

The Technology Services Specialist is accountable to providing Level 1 support for internal technology users, ensuring systems and applications are functioning efficiently, and to working collaboratively with the broader support team to ensure all issues are assessed, prioritized and fulfilled within established service level agreements.
The Services Specialist supports continuous improvement of the Technology Services function through process development, and program delivery, with the goal of improving and delivering an exceptional employee experience.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot network issues, isolating and correcting them in a timely fashion.
  • Provide technical support to end users.
  • Install/upgrade/replace/repair network hardware as required (Servers and workstations).
  • Create and maintain network user accounts, shares, and security.
  • Keep systems running efficiently.
  • Ensure that security best practices are maintained and enforced during all support activities.
  • Build and communicate understanding and awareness of process and procedures to end users through one-to-one support and group forums.
  • Support and lead user improvements in core business applications and processes (M365, SharePoint, distribution list management).
