About the Role We’re looking for a detail‑driven Billing Analyst to join our growing Finance team in Pune, India. This role is essential to ensuring accurate, timely billing that supports revenue integrity and confident business decision‑making. You’ll partner closely with Finance, Revenue Operations, and customer‑facing teams to ensure invoices accurately reflect contracts, pricing, and usage. Your day to day Prepare, review, and issue accurate customer invoices on schedule Validate billing inputs including contract terms, pricing models, usage data, and purchase orders Track unbilled revenue and proactively investigate and resolve discrepancies Support month‑end and quarter‑end close activities related to billing and revenue Ensure billing practices comply with company policies, contractual requirements, and ASC 606 standards Reconcile billed amounts to contract values and perform variance analysis Maintain complete, audit‑ready billing documentation Partner with Account Executives, FP&A, Revenue Operations, and Accounting on new deals, renewals, and pricing changes Respond to customer billing inquiries with clarity and professionalism Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve billing processes What you bring to the team Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field 5–9 years of experience in billing or Accounts Receivable, ideally in a SaaS or subscription‑based environment Strong understanding of billing cycles, revenue concepts, and accounting fundamentals Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, complex formulas) Experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite and/or HubSpot Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment Proactive, ownership‑oriented mindset with a collaborative approach What we would like to see, but not required Working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles Experience supporting audits and revenue reporting Exposure to billing automation, systems optimization, or process improvement initiatives What you’ll get in return Competitive Leave & Benefits Comprehensive health coverage Equity for every employee – share in our success Growth-focused environment – your development matters here Work arrangements Standard hours: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week Location: Pune, Hybrid (3 days a week in office) Shift: 12pm-9pm IST Our Commitment as an Equal Opportunity Employer As a mission-led technology company helping to drive better healthcare outcomes, Abacus Insights believes that the best innovation and value we can bring to our customers comes from diverse ideas, thoughts, experiences, and perspectives.
