This position is responsible for analyzing account data, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining detailed financial records to support corporate accounting functions. The Billing Analyst will collaborate closely with various departments to streamline billing operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. By leveraging ERP systems and advanced analytical tools, the role contributes to optimizing revenue cycles and enhancing financial reporting accuracy. Ultimately, this position supports the financial health of the Surgery Center by delivering precise billing analysis and timely account reconciliations. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Proven experience in general and corporate accounting with a focus on billing or accounts reconciliation. * Proficiency in ERP systems, specifically NetSuite, and advanced Excel skills including pivot tables. * Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to financial data. * Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working in a healthcare or surgical center environment. * Certification in accounting or finance (e.g., CPA, CMA) is advantageous. * Familiarity with healthcare billing regulations and compliance standards. * Advanced knowledge of additional ERP platforms or financial software. * Demonstrated ability to improve billing processes through automation or system enhancements. Responsibilities: * Perform detailed account analysis and reconciliation to identify and resolve billing discrepancies. * Utilize ERP systems, including NetSuite, to manage billing data and generate accurate financial reports. * Collaborate with corporate accounting and other internal teams to ensure billing processes align with organizational policies and compliance requirements. * Develop and maintain pivot tables and other analytical tools to monitor billing trends and support decision-making. * Manage time effectively to meet billing deadlines and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
