Description

We are looking for a skilled Billing Analyst to join our team in St. Petersburg, Florida. In this role, you will oversee billing operations, provide detailed financial analysis, and ensure compliance with established processes and regulations. This position requires a proactive individual who can collaborate with technical teams, drive process improvements, and deliver accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Manage billing processes, collections, and cash applications to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and resolve system inconsistencies through root cause analysis and business solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to align system functionality with operational workflows.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to maintain consistent billing procedures and workflow controls.
  • Prepare month-end reports, variance analyses, settlements, and ad-hoc reporting as needed.
  • Support accounts receivable processes, including delinquency management and reconciliation of receivables.
  • Consult with management to streamline processes and minimize customer impact.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of complex business needs, including managing related projects.
  • Conduct trend analysis and act as the liaison with business partners to communicate findings and recommendations
  • 5 + years of experience in billing, finance, or operations departments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is preferred, but equivalent experience is acceptable.
  • Proven ability to assess complex business issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including planning and execution of business initiatives.
  • Knowledge of process flows, regulatory requirements, and compliance timelines.
  • Proficiency in compiling detailed reports and conducting data analysis to support business needs.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with stakeholders and presenting recommendations.
