POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an Insurance Coordinator/Biller to handle front desk billing duties, including processing payments, treatment planning, patient billing and working with our billing team to ensure accurate record of accounts. Over time, the individual will transition into overseeing daily office operations, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth functioning of our office.
This role should be able to accurately handle administrative duties. Knowledge of Open Dental is a plus. Ultimately, ensuring the smooth running of the office and help to improve company procedures and day-to-day operation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in front desk billing or a similar administrative role
  • Strong understanding of billing practices, insurance verification, and accounts receivable management.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, staff, and vendors.
  • Experience working in a dental office
  • Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
  • Willingness to learn and grow into a management role with increased responsibility.
Responsibilities

FRONT DESK BILLING DUTIES:

  • Process patient or client billing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Verify insurance information and handle insurance claims processing.
  • Address patient or client inquiries related to billing and insurance.
  • Assist with general front desk duties, including answering phone calls and greeting clients.
