Parsons is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Billing Coordinator to join our Abu Dhabi team! In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the financial success of our projects by managing accurate and timely invoicing processes, collaborating closely with project teams both on-site and at the main office and ensure invoices are prepared, submitted, and recorded with accurately.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Partner with office and site-based project teams to gather and validate information and supporting documentation for invoice preparation.
  • Create, review, and submit accurate invoices in compliance with contractual terms, client requirements, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date invoicing records to support internal and external audits.
  • Manage and update the invoices log to ensure proper tracking and reporting.
  • Generate and present weekly and monthly invoice status reports to management.
  • Reconcile invoicing records with project financial data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with finance, contracts, and project control teams to resolve invoicing discrepancies.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in invoicing or accounting, preferably within the engineering, construction or project management sectors with major governmental and private clients in Abu Dhabi.
  • Strong understanding of invoicing processes, financial documentation, and basic accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting systems (experience with Oracle or similar platforms is an advantage).
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders (Arabic language proficiency is preferred).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a strong focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.
