Why Join Us:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Billing and Invoice Specialist to join our Finance team. In this crucial role, you’ll be responsible for capturing and recording all material and sub-contractor costs to support the recovery of revenue across multiple client accounts. You’ll also play a key part in delivering meaningful analysis and reporting to drive financial performance and compliance.

About the Job:

  • Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely receipt and entry of purchase invoices.
  • Chase sub-contractors for required documentation and ensure timely submissions.
  • Check and approve sub-contractor invoices, validating them against agreed terms and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Accurately capture all chargeable, out-of-scope costs on client systems to ensure cost recovery.
  • Contribute to supplier reviews and suggest improvements as needed.
  • Support Commercial Analyst with reporting on rejected work orders and escalate when necessary.
  • Provide actionable insights on cost recovery ratios and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure timely closure of work orders to support KPI achievement.
  • Assist credit controllers with invoice processing to maximise cash receipts.

To be successful you will have::

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Studying towards an accountancy qualification is beneficial.
  • Proficient in Excel (intermediate level).
  • Familiarity with financial systems such as SUN and INFOR is an advantage.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in a similar billing or sales ledger role is essential.
  • Track record of meeting tight deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a high-volume finance environment.
