The Billing Manager oversees all Billing Department operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity of the patient accounts receivable system. This role works closely with Patient Financial Services, reception, medical records, and leadership to support organizational financial health. Strong knowledge of FQHC billing, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and state/federal program requirements is essential. Key Responsibilities Hire, lead, train, supervise, and evaluate Billing staff Facilitate patient and staff billing inquiries Develop and maintain billing procedures & policies Ensure accurate posting of charges, payments, adjustments and write-offs Monitor accounts receivable and billing workflows Oversee billing for Medicare, Medicaid and other payers We Offer a Cadillac Benefits Package Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time off (PTO) and 8 Paid Holidays Life Insurance 401(k) with up to 4% Employer Match Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field and a minimum of four years’ experience in a health care setting, demonstrating an increase in scope of responsibilities.
