This remains the core of our business driven by a commitment to sustainability and the goal of reducing our clients’ carbon footprint. 🐿️The role in a nutshell You will oversee the billing process across the organization, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant invoices are issued to our customers and suppliers, supporting the business in converting sales and revenue through to cash in the bank. You'll lead and supervise the billing team in addition to developing and implementing robust policies and procedures, preparing and analysing KPI data and resolve any billing queries/discrepancies that may arise. People management will be a prominent part of this role, with c. 4 direct reports. Accurate and Timely Billing: Invoices to customers and energy suppliers are issued on schedule with complete accuracy, reducing disputes and improving cash flow. Revenue Assurance: Robust controls are in place to validate billable activities, identify leakage, and ensure full revenue capture. Client Satisfaction: Transparent and error-free billing drives stronger client relationships and improves Net Promoter Scores (NPS). Process Efficiency: Billing workflows are streamlined through automation and continuous improvement, resulting in faster cycle times. Compliance & Audit Readiness: Billing processes align with internal policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
