JOB SUMMARY: This position will assist the billing office with clerical duties including but not limited to: routine clerical and administrative functions such as correspondence, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, and providing information to callers.  JOB LOCATION: Lafayette, LA - This position is based in the office, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Verifying patient demographics * Refunding third parties * Pulling, printing, and mailing of claims, medical records and EOB’s  * Data Entry into billing system * Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma or equivalent * Proficient in Google, MS Office Suite or related software * Excellent communication and customer relation skill * Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with coworkers and patients * Professional work ethic and dress code * Ability to adhere to productivity goals, departmental and company guidelines, policy and procedures * Possess strong organizational skills * Understands HIPAA and Red Flag guidelines * Maintain highest level of confidentiality * Punctual with strong attendance history All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
