The Billing Officer is responsible for performing administrative tasks and processing documents and data according to prescribed procedures and available tools, ensuring that accurate administrative records are available on time. In this role, the employee accurately processes and edits data, correctly distributes, files, and archives documents in accordance with established procedures, and promptly records any irregularities that may occur during administrative operations. As a Billing Officer, you will: Accurately process and edit data Correctly distribute, file, and archive documents Promptly record irregularities Prepare and process various department-related documents Code, sort, verify, and total data Identify and report errors or ambiguities Prepare documents and enter data into the computer system, ensuring accuracy File and archive documents properly Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls Work within clearly defined procedures, often determined by computer applications Only deviate from existing procedures after consulting the hierarchical supervisor Organize personal workload within assigned priorities Perform recurring administrative tasks Ability to organize, prepare, and compile documents using information from multiple sources Basic computer skills (MS Office) Strong communication skills Attention to detail Teamplayer Educational background: high school diploma Experience: Junior position (0-3 years) –prior experience is preferred Experience with alphabetical and coded filing of documents.
