Job Title: Billing Specialist Job Description As a Billing Specialist, you will play a key role in managing the end-to-end billing process. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the accurate and timely issuance of invoices and credit memos, resolving billing discrepancies, and performing weekly reconciliations. You will collaborate with internal teams to streamline and enhance billing procedures, handle EDI rejections, and generate various financial reports to support business operations. Responsibilities Process customer invoices, credit memos, rebills, and cancellation requests with accuracy and efficiency. Investigate and resolve EDI rejections by collaborating with internal teams and external customers. Analyze billing discrepancies, identify root causes, and work cross-functionally to implement long-term solutions. Conduct regular reconciliations of billing activities to ensure completeness and accuracy. Generate and maintain billing reports, including weekly distributor statements and ad-hoc reporting as needed. Monitor billing queues daily to ensure timely resolution and proper invoice processing. Respond to billing inquiries and disputes, providing prompt and effective resolution. Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable records in compliance with company policies. Essential Skills At least 1 year of Accounts Receivable experience. At least 1 year of experience in billing. Experience with mid to large ERP systems, SAP preferred. Familiarity with Excel, including pivot tables and V-lookups. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required, Associate's degree preferred. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, Florida. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
