POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Specialist to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for managing project setup, financial budgets, and preparing client invoices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and billing, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3+ years of professional accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Cost Accounting and Billing.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy without sacrificing efficiency.
  • Solid communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal).
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Analytical thinking, sound judgment, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams).
  • Knowledge of Adobe software.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with project managers to review contract documentation and set up projects and financial budgets.
  • Prepare complex client invoices (Cost Plus, Time and Materials, & Fixed Price) in line with contracted terms, including providing supporting documentation when required by the contract.
  • Assist the Regional Accounting Manager with the month-end closing process.
  • Maintain organized and accurate files and records for audit purposes and future reference.
  • Handle other related tasks as necessary to support the finance team.
