We are looking for a professional Billing Specialist (Temporary) to join our Patient Accounts team! As a Billing Specialist, you play a vital role in making healthcare accessible. What You’ll Do: As a Billing Specialist, you're more than just detail-oriented — you’re part of ensuring that patients can focus on their health while you handle the paperwork with accuracy, compassion, and respect for the people we serve. Making sure patient billing and insurance claims are accurate and timely Processing payments with care and precision Working closely with coworkers to ensure smooth communication and teamwork Protecting confidentiality and following HIPAA standards Bringing cultural sensitivity and respect to every interaction What You Bring: High School Diploma or GED One (1) year recent medical billing experience -OR- completion of a medical billing program and externship Comfortable working with electronic health record systems Detail-oriented, dependable, and caring in your approach to work Strong typing skills and computer program knowledge (Word, Outlook, etc.) Why PTHA?
