Description Job Title: Billing Specialist Job Type: FT Location: Charlotte, NC- Hybrid (3+ days in office) Job Summary We are passionate about our clients having a great experience and this also applies to our team and our future team members. This position establishes all new clients within the accounting software and performs all annual and monthly billing for products and services. The Billing Specialist reports to the Sr. Billing Specialist. What You’ll Do Responsible for monthly administrative billing functions – encompassing all fees for all products and services offered. Responsible for setting up and maintaining customer accounts within internal billing system. Responsible for invoice corrections and updates, once approved from the Accounts Receivable Team Lead. Assist with cash receipts application. Assists with collection activities. Responsible for fielding questions from client, broker and internal related to administrative invoices. Assists with any special client communications. Provides exceptional customer service to clients. Perform other duties as assigned. Maintain quality work that exemplifies and promotes our company’s core values. Requirements Who You Are A graduate with a high school diploma or its equivalent. One year of experience in a clerical or administrative role where customer service was critical. Two years of accounting experience is preferred. Excellent organization and time management skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to handle confidential information. Ability to work collaboratively and successfully as a strong team member. Proficiency in written and oral communication. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. An individual that understands the value of providing a high level of customer service. Work Environment FloresHR’s standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET with an hour lunch. Roles may be approved for other schedules by managers. This role operates in a professional hybrid environment based out of our Charlotte office (off West Morehead) (3+ days in office). This role is mostly sedentary and consists of prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. This role also utilizes other tools such as a phone, copy machine, and printer. Common programs often used are Outlook, Word, and Excel. This position frequently communicates with FloresHR team members and candidates and must be able to exchange accurate information clearly in these situations.
