JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the billing process, ensuring accuracy in medical billing and coding, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. This position requires strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding systems, and billing practices to effectively handle medical records and collections. With possible help in our patient accounts department.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in medical billing, coding, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and coding systems (ICD coding).
• Familiarity with EMR and EHR systems is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in a medical office setting is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
