Description Kinsley Power Systems is seeking a Billing Specialist to work in their high volume Finance department! The Billing Specialist is responsible for accurately processing service billings and providing administrative support for the Finance department within established timelines. The position will work closely with the Service and Rental departments to ensure accurate and timely billing and is responsible for assisting the Finance Team with other office support related issues. Kinsley Power Systems, a family-owned business, has been an industry leader in generator service, sales and rentals for over 60 years. We are a REHLKO generator distributor headquartered in East Granby, CT with locations throughout the Northeast. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: · Work cross departmentally with sales, service and rentals to coordinate timely billing of invoices · Accurate and timely data entry and processing of internal and external customer jobs · Invoice billings for service jobs including data entry of material requisitions, reviewing files and entering service summaries · Responsible for accurate filing of service, maintenance and preventative maintenance agreements · Ensures all in voices are in compliance with contract requirements · Tracks all completed billings weekly and reports to management · Other duties as assigned Education and Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred or a combination of education and work experience will be considered · Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Word, Excel and Outlook · Basic knowledge of accounting software systems; Great Plains, Wensoft, and MobilTech, a plus · Must work well in a team environment · Must possess extreme attention to detail and organizational skills · Must possess superior verbal and written communication skills · Must be able to work at a high pace and remain deadline/task oriented Note: Essential functions are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities necessary to meet the minimum job requirements of this position, but are not intended to be comprehensive.
