Backed by a team of 450+ experts, we’re trusted by some of New Zealand’s largest organisations to protect what matters most.  Ko tā mātou mahi - About the role  As a Billing Specialist, you’ll ensure billing is executed correctly across a range of services, while supporting contract administration, revenue forecasting, and continuous improvement across our Finance function. The role is crucial to how we convert complex contracts into accurate, timely revenue.  You’ll work closely with Sales and Finance to manage billing changes, resolve disputes, and improve how revenue flows through the business. The work requires precision and sound judgement. Your ability to spot issues early, maintain data integrity, and streamline processes will directly impact revenue accuracy and customer experience.  Ko tō mahi – What you will do  Reporting to the Finance Operations Lead, you will manage billing and contract administration activities, ensuring revenue is processed accurately and on time. You’ll partner with Sales and internal stakeholders to support forecasting, resolve issues, and strengthen billing processes across the business.  Key responsibilities include:  * Ensuring billing is accurate, complete, and delivered on time * Managing billing changes and requests, including contract updates and MACDs * Investigating and resolving billing disputes and customer enquiries * Supporting revenue forecasting and reporting in partnership with Finance and Sales * Maintaining billing integrity and supporting assurance activities * Managing price reviews and contract adjustments * Supporting integration of new services or acquisitions into billing processes * Identifying and implementing process improvements to strengthen accuracy and efficiency * Contributing to system enhancements and finance-led projects Nā tōu rourou - What you will bring  Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:  * Experience in billing, revenue, or a similar finance role * Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy * Ability to investigate issues, resolve discrepancies, and apply sound judgement * Experience working with financial systems (SAP or similar is advantageous) * Intermediate to advanced Excel capability * Clear communication skills and ability to work across teams * Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities * A practical, solutions-focused approach to improving processes Nōu te rourou – Why join us?  This role offers exposure to the full revenue lifecycle, from contract setup through to billing and reporting.
