You will be focusing on: 

• Perform billing-related tasks for complex matters of the assigned lawyers: invoicing, distribution of pro formas, proofreading, changes to time entries, write-offs and transfers;
• Produce reports and tables tailored to the expressed needs of professionals and clients;
• Provide client service to internal and external clients for assigned accounts and respond to various requests in the allotted time;
• Make sure budgets and comprehensive billing agreements are adhered to;
• Manage all aspects of the E-billing process;
• Assist with month-end process;
• Manage requests sent to a common email box;
• Liaise with the client billing specialists;
• Perform any other related duties.

What you bring to the role:

• Diploma of College Studies in an appropriate area;
• Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in a similar position;
• Previous experience in law firm or professional service firm is an asset;
• Solid knowledge of SAP, Word, Excel and Outlook;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Detail-oriented with good problem solving skills;
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multi-task;
• Willing to take initiative and to work independently and as part of a team;
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
• Flexibility in order to accommodate work demands;
• Bilingualism (French / English) is an asset;
