Description

Premier Fire Alarm and Integration Systems is in search of a new candidate to welcome to our team. We are looking for a responsible Billing Specialist to perform Duties of the Billing Specialist include mainly our company’s general collections activities and providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and assisting and administrative activities. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment. In addition to being able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

SKILLS

  • QuickBooks
  • Proven experience as an Billing specialist
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Bilingual a plus (English & Spanish)
    Experience in the Fire Alarm and Security or Construction industry is a plus but not required

Responsibilities
  • Performs follow-up activities on all accounts to ensure prompt, proper payment.
  • Assist with increasing cash flow and decrease our Account Receivables aging account
  • Identify any errors including but not limited to; billing errors, short payment
  • Utilize the most efficient way to successfully obtain payment in a timely manner.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports
  • Assist in answering and directing phone calls
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
